“Jorge Flo” who was director of the “Cadena Ser” Biggest Radio Pop Music enterprise in Spain rediscovered Juan Carlos Mendoza in the first CD of the million seller hit man bagpipe player “Hevia” although he knew him from his early days with the rock band “Orquesta Mondragon” and other artists, Jorge Flo was his master of ceremony when his first CD "Mediterranova" was released.

Since arriving in Spain (Barcelona) after an early and successful career in Chile with Chilean legendary rock bands like; “Soul Gas”, "Santa y su Gente" and "Almandina", in which he composed, played bass etc.
After several years touring Scandinavia and other European cities, he joined Mallorca mediterranean guitarrist “Joan Bibiloni” , recording with him three excellent cd´s. He also teams with musicians from Barcelona and Madrid as the fantastic keyboard player and producer "Josep Mas “Kitflus” Colombian jazz Diva “Martha Patricia”, jazz guitarrist “Max Sunyer”, the American singer “Deborah Carter” and Stanley Clarke Guitarrist Ray Gomez etc.
He moves to Madrid and participates as a member of jazz artists such as Jayme Marques, Stephen Frankevitch (RIP), Jorge Pardo, Tito Duarte (RIP) etc. and personal projects as “Funk Off” or "Smoothhotjazz Band.
He was asked to join the Pop-Rock-Celtic Spanish scene. Recording and touring with Hevia, Victor and Ana, Orquesta Mondragón, Amistades Peligrosas, Vargas Blues Band etc. Lots of Club dates with Funk -Acid- jazz-Brazilian music -Projects.
At this point after a long career, collaborations in hundreds of recordings for many artists in the country, alternating as sesión musician, composer, or producer etc, touring whenever required, finally presented his first long-awaited recording project "Mediterranova" (Indigo Records EFDS 3036) 2005, this time as composer, producer and arranger, surrounded by lots of friends from Spain and all over the world, the CD was a journey through the experiences, feelings, and love for all music.
In 2015 his new CD "Thanks to Life" edited this time by Pak Records (Avispa Records) again with many special guests and new friends, artists and musicians well known worldwide, this new work includes new songs, versions etc.
His new work in 2021 "Life Has Changed"is the first Smoothjazz CD made in Spain with national and International guests will get live on 23 of July 2021, and his first single is already everywhere, called "All Days In A Week" featuring the great Spanish smoothjazz sax player Ismael Dorado this time with DK Records, the cd will soon be available.
He can be seen on tv around the country on lots of special concerts TV every week joining some of the best Pop and Jazz sessions and also with his own band.
From 2019 he started a Colaboration with Smoothhotjazz Festivals and Events in Madrid, creating the first Spanish Smoothjazz Band and playing for famous international musicians as; Brian Simpson, Peter White, Michael Lington, Paul Taylor, Adam Hawley, Roberto Tola, Paula Atherton, Kat Hawley, etc.
